To play, select a challenge card and place the cars and trucks on the grid as described. The goal of the game is to get your red car to the exit, sliding other vehicles out of your way until the path is clear.

With 40 challenge cards included in every game, there are beginner, intermediate, advanced and expert levels. Each game comes with solutions to each challenge, instructions, one red car, four blocking trucks, 11 blocking cards, a traffic grid and a game-go bag.

Rush Hour is recommended for ages 8 and up.
