Treat & Train Remote Reward Dog Trainer
Premier Treat & Train is a remote-controlled reward system that uses positive reinforcement to train dogs to behave at home and perform better in competition. This invaluable tool is a must-have for dog owners and professional trainers.
By rewarding desired good behaviors, the system can be an invaluable tool in helping redirect a dog's focus away from barking at the door, jumping on guests, and begging at the table for food. The system can also be used to help train "down/stay", a polite default behavior like "sit", and coming when called. Agility competitors use it to teach 'contacts', "place", "go-outs", and to help increase overall speed.
Solves many behavior problems
- Charging out the door
- Jumping on guests
- Begging at the table
How does the system work?
By rewarding your dog for behaviors you desire. Many old-fashioned training methods focus on punishing unwanted behavior. Veterinary and animal behaviorists recommend focusing on rewarding correct behaviors and removing rewards for bad behaviors.
Dogs repeat behaviors that are rewarded. To change or eliminate unwanted behavior, first determine what is reinforcing it, and change our behavior to stop unintentionally rewarding your dog for things your don't like. Then teach and reward the good manners and behavior you prefer.
Different dogs are motivated by different things. Some dogs like to play with toys, others like praise and petting, and still others will do anything for good. A program using the Treat & Train take all of these motivators into consideration.
Contents: Treat & Train contains a remote-controlled, treat dispensing feeder with a simple, two-button remote control. The hand-held training target wand may also be used in its removable base. Also included is an instructional guide and training DVD.
